Thorndale Park
Join the Medinah Park District for a day celebrating our home, Earth! This free event will feature a park clean-up, planting of native species, ecological demonstrations, earth-themed crafts, music, as well as a recycling drive!
RECYCLING DRIVE
Come bring your recyclable items to Thorndale Park, where park district staff and volunteers will sort the items and recycle them to the proper organizations.
Items we will accept: Books, school supplies, clothes, toys, small electronics (no TVs or monitors), batteries of all sizes, eye glasses, hearing aids, American flags, vinyl records, keys, inkjet cartridges, dog/cat kennels, bicycles and bike accessories, small lamps, and sports equipment
